About Me

I started AMPEY with my daughter and many other amazing people who I am proud to have on this journey with me. I love what I do and believe there is nothing better then seeing our participants happy and achieving magnificent steps to being independent and accepted in their community.

I am so proud of them and all they do to assist and support me.

I have two of the most beautiful granddaughters that I adore and love spending time with. Now I have an extended family that is AMPEY. I look forward to seeing AMPEY continue to provide the best, most innovative supports because we will never forget “the why”.

Support Worker

About Me

Hi! I'm Katie, I'm one of the newest members of the AMPEY family, I'm a fun loving person that's always keen for a new adventure. I'm a film enthusiast with a special interest in all things Disney & nostalgic.
Fun fact about me is I love to cosplay, attending multiple conventions every year.

Experience

While I am fresh into this incredible industry I did dip a toe in the industry while working in disability employment services.
Here I could see that there was so much more I could do for people.
Prior to this I've gained my certificate IV in beauty therapy working in a range of spa environments, I also have my certificate IV in retail management working as a team leader in the cosmetics department of Myer and was a skincare specialist in Sephora before that.

Mark Wolfraad
Support Worker

About Me

Hi my name is Mark and I am a new support worker at Ampey. I moved to the Central Coast with my partner and young daughter 15 years ago. I am now a father to three beautiful children and I like to spend my free time exploring the coast with the kids going to the beach for a surf, bushwalking with our faithful Daschund dog "Douglas" or you can find me down at my local Gym and spending quality time with my friends and family.

I love travelling and have travelled to many countries around the world for work and leisure and planning more trips around Australia and beyond.

Experience

Over the years since finishing school I have worked in a number of industries from Retail, Fire protection, Mining, Law enforcement and Border protection, Security and now Disability support.

I found all the jobs that I worked to be rewarding in different ways and have value. My education includes: Advanced Certification in Fire Technology, Security Certificate and licence, Diploma of Government and I have just completed my studies in Cert 3 in Disability Support.

I have nearly one year of Disability Support experience and I have found an amazing feeling of satisfaction in the small and significant improvements to the lives and condition of the people that we provide support to. This satisfaction and feeling of reward drives me to provide the best service that I can for people that deserve our support and encouragement.

Liz Reynolds
Support Worker

About Me

Hi my name is Liz and being a Support Worker is my passion. I am a Mum of 4 gorgeous children who are my world. My passion for disability started 6 yrs ago when my 9yr old son was diagnosed with Autism, Oppositional Defiance Disorder and Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. I found myself constantly advocating and pushing the systems to get the appropriate supports in place for my son to receive the best opportunities in life. It has been my life for the past 6yrs. Now I want to support others in kicking down barriers and reaching goals.

Experience

I worked as a legal PA for 4 years prior to having my children. I have also worked in retail and as a commercial cleaner in medical facilities. I am currently enrolled in my Certificate III in individual support (Disability) and once completed I intend on furthering my education.
